So sad to read about Gene in the paper today.  I'm so glad to have sang in Morning Star with him for 25 yrs.  What a journey we were on and we all remained steadfast in the good and bad with Gene as our group leader.  He holds a special place in my heart and I will always treasure the memories.  He was a wonderful chrisitian, husband, dad and grandpa.  I know that he is in a better place and enjoying heaven.  Will be keeping the family in our thoughts and prayers.
